Gator's Dockside Baldwin Park: A Fun Spot for Casual Dining and Drinks

Such a fun place to eat!! I have been going to gators since I was a kid, and this location really brings in the nostalgia for me! Marissa is a phenomenal server. Attentive, funny, and always made sure our food was top tier.

First time here. I live in Baldwin park. Overall was a 3/5 for me. Let’s start with the good. The drinks are very affordable compared to other spots on this strip of restaurants. The house margarita was very passable. Not great but passable. Think Margaritaville. Bartender was very nice, and attentive. The wings were large. Wasn’t a fan of their breading, but not docking them for that. That is a personal preference thing. Wings were worth it for the price 100%. Now let speak on the nachos. . I am not sure there was even cheese on these. Dry, dry, dry. Dry chicken, and dry chips. I’m being harsh because it’s listed as a signature menu item. Don’t get the nachos. Nachos 1/5. Without those I would have probably given about a 4/5. This place is what it is. Cheap drinks, bar food, etc. Not a date night place. Fix your nachos guys. Seems like a place you should ask the server/bar tender what’s good, and what they suggest.

It's a place with a good vibe to eat and have cocktails while enjoying college football. Our server, Emily, was attentive and humorous. She frequently checked to see if we needed anything. The drinks were delicious. The fish and chips were flavorful, just too much coating. Our order of parmesan garlic wings was slightly overcooked. The sweet Thai Chili was cooked well.

I came in on Monday for the All You Can Eat special at Gators Dockside and had an awesome experience! Our server, Sydney, made the whole visit even better. She was super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything, making sure our drinks were full. Her great attitude really made our night. Highly recommend Gators Dockside if you’re hungry and want great service. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for Sydney!

Great location! Great view! But that’s about it for this place. We went for trivia which was fun, but a little hard to hear the announcer because of the acoustics in the place. I just personally found it to be lacking in cleanliness. I think they could use a deep clean and some updating for sure. The bathrooms are abysmal. Two toilets didn’t work. Food is nothing noteworthy.

The food is ok. Gator bites 4.3/5 Ahi tuna salad 3/5 French onion soup 3.75/5 Beer (Funky Buddha Wheat) 5/5 The atmosphere is nice but a bit windy and louder than comfortable. Staff is very attentive but food took a long time to come out
